John Steger, a 52-year native of Huntsville, is a dedicated Dad of 5 beautiful daughters. His youngest lives at home with her Mom in Tuscaloosa, AL. Two of his daughters live and work in Huntsville, one is entering her Junior year at LSU and another is a Sophomore at The University of Alabama.
John Steger started his sales career in 1987. John started as an Outside Sales agent for an AT& T franchise and in 2 years was promoted to National Director of Sales & Management Training responsible for 15 franchise locations across the US. In 1994 John founded Performance Enhancement Group (PEG) with a small contract to rebuild a struggling agricultural journal which led to over 75 subsequent contracts to provide training and turn-around services for Fortune 1000 companies in 44 of the 48 contiguous United States.
John decided to enter real estate in 2005 and returned “home” to join Mike Friday and Woodland Homes in October 2005. From his first client, John’s passion for helping families proved why he has been at the top of every organization he has served. In John’s first year, he broke most existing records held in sales at Woodland Homes.
John was named New Home Professional of the Year 2006/2007 by Woodland Homes for assisting 43 families with new home ownership in 2006.
